Architectural Project Description

This architectural project combines fluid, modern design with functional spaces for exhibition, office, residential, and storage purposes. The building is defined by a continuous curved form that flows from the base to the top, creating a striking visual contrast between the transparent ground floor and the more compact, private residential section above. The primary materials used throughout the structure include concrete, glass, and stucco, giving the building a modern, durable, and aesthetically refined finish.

Basement: Storage & Exhibition Space

The basement serves dual functions: a storage room and a secondary exhibition area. The concrete structure in the basement provides strength and stability, with polished concrete finishes offering a modern, industrial feel, particularly suited to the storage area. In the exhibition section, indirect lighting softens the concrete surfaces, creating a subdued, intimate atmosphere. The walls are treated with stucco, which adds warmth and texture, contrasting the sleekness of the concrete. This basement exhibition space is designed to host smaller, more curated displays, offering a quiet, contemplative setting.

Ground Floor: Jewellery Exhibition for Silverware

The ground floor is entirely encased in glass, creating an inviting, open exhibition space for displaying silver jewellery and silverware. The transparency of the glass facade allows natural light to flood the interior, making it ideal for showcasing silver, whose reflective qualities are enhanced in this bright, airy environment. The display cases are placed strategically, surrounded by minimalist concrete frames that mirror the fluidity of the building’s overall design. Inside the exhibition, the walls are finished with light-colored stucco, providing a soft backdrop that contrasts with the reflective nature of the glass and the brilliance of the silver pieces. The stucco finish offers a warm, elegant tone that complements the sharpness of the jewelry displays, creating a luxurious yet welcoming environment for visitors.
